D.C. received his calling to pastoral ministry while studying biology at Virginia Tech. It was his parents' prayers that made the greatest impact when deciding between medical school and the pastorate: "We prayed you would be a healer of people and we thought God called you to be a physician of the body, but now we see God has called you to be a physician of the soul." That was the beginning of his calling to be HIStory teller.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Olivia, and they have two children, Kyrie and Arielle. As a retired barista competitor, he loves sharing conversations and building relationships through a good cup of coffee. He is passionate about preaching God's Word and hopes to comfort the broken, heal the scarred, and love the unloved through the power of the Gospel.
